Already half a year old.....

My sweet girl is six months old! Time seems to be going by faster and faster! Everyday there is something new. She is still is the happiest baby, as long as she gets fed (still on a 3-4 hour schedule increased the morning and nightly feeding to 8 oz opposed to 6 oz).  We also started giving her some oatmeal mixed with formula. – I know I was a little late on starting the food thing, but did the same for Ellie and girlfriend is not a picky eater.  She did great eating off the spoon and grabbing for more!
Caroline is ready to go! She’s got all the movements to start crawling, just isn’t making it too far for now (which is FINE by me). She rolls from front to back and back to front and loves to stick her toes in her mouth (happy baby pose).

David took Caroline for  her well baby check-up and all went well.  88% for height at 27 inches and is in the 70% for weight at 17 lbs 3 ounces. Her head measured 42.5 cm and at the 58%. She got two shots and did pretty good..
We got to go to Rooftop Rythems at Richland Fashion mall with La-la, Caroline and Sawyer got to meet for the first time! <3
 Baby swap.

It was a really HOT day in May...

Also David got a taste of how it would be with 3 girls... He was a little scared!

Overall everything is wonderful. Ellie is such a wonderful big sister and always wants to help with “sissy” from feeding bottles, to giving her the paci to just keeping her entertained with a toy or frozen teether. – No teeth yet but showing the signs of teeth coming soon like drooling and just a little fussy.  Caroline still does not cry much and very chill.  Right now she is loving the bouncer lamb as long as she is buckled in because baby girl wants to GO.  When we get home from work Ellie runs into her play room to color “coLey” and I will turn on the baby program with VocabuLarry that entertains Caroline.   She loves all the bright colors and simple shapes they have on the show – and Ellie doesn’t mind the channel.

We usually start giving Caroline her bottle around 6:45 and she is ready for bed at 7pm.  If she doesn’t fall asleep while taking her last bottle she will play in her crib for 15-20 minutes and then fall asleep.  Ellie is not going to bed until 8-8:30 pm so it gives us a little extra time just with her – but I honestly think she doesn’t mind having Caroline around, when Caroline goes to sleep she’s very concerned about “where sissy?”.

I am not sure how I have lucked out with two great girls, but I could not have asked for anything more.  We are truly blessed and everyday David amazes me on what a great Dad he is – my girls are lucky… and I guess I am too ;)
Some fun on Memorial Day around the house with bubble maker and mini splash pad!

Caroline playing tag!
Typical morning before heading to Amber's to play with "buddies".
Ellie refers to all her friends as buddies.
Ellie LOVES the water... Every day when we get home, she asks if she can play in the water...
Can't blame the girl, I do love some pool time!

Ellie ran a very high fever (almost 103 degrees) so I got to leave work early and cuddle with the sweet girl all day! - i hated she didn't feel good, but man the cuddles were amazing...

Okay... i know this is silly, but i did get a new car! Very happy with the Highlander and loving the bench seat so I can crawl back there and feed Caroline, watch a movie with the girls or tend to Ellie..

Who doesn't love some bubbles!!

This picture scares me... a little taste of what it's going to be like in a few years...
Ellie is riding with Bradley (Amber's son) - She loves a jeep just like her Daddy
Caroline about to go crazy with the Camera in her face!

Dr. Crum Mack came to visit! I believe Caroline enjoyed the visit, too.

I mean I could play this over and over! Little angel.
