January came and went in a matter or seconds. My sisters (and Sawyers :)) hosted an amazing shower for baby Elizabeth and me and we racked up on all kinds of great stuff. Everyone was so sweet to come out and make it to the shower, we had people come in from Raleigh, Greenville, Charlotte, and Charleston. I honestly was overwhelmed with all the friends and family that came to my shower.
Cambo and Mom!
My beautiful hosts!!
Heather, Joy, Lauren, me, Cam, Tricia, and Meredith.
The awesome presents!!
The Grandmommies to be....
Now that we had some clothes, toys, and necessities for our new bundle of joy we needed to get our Nursery ready for her arrival! David did such a great job painting!
So girly, I know!
I also got a little caught up in the moment and I had a groupon that was expiring so I got my picture taken 8 months pregnant. I just could not do the traditional serious look down at the belly pose, so I just had fun with it! And this is what came about....Baby girl came 10 days early!! With the help of Italian Sausage, lunges, hop scotch, and determination! This picture was taking the night before I went into labor...
AND then Sunday night my contractions were pretty normal so we drove to the hospital after mid-night (per Cam's recommendation) and had to go through Triage for couple hours until they confirmed I was in fact in LABOR! :)
Jamie was our nurse and she was amazing, the rest of the time was a blur, although I highly recommend the Epidural :) Miss Elizabeth Baldwin Cook arrived about 11 hours after arriving to the hospital at 12:05 pm. (honestly though it went by really fast)......
Proud Papa!!
Our new family!
The dates on the pictures are obviously not right... The pictures came from my Mom's camera and they have not noticed the dates on the pictures.... :)
