Life is Golden

Picked some Golden Apples up in the mountains of NC!

Emily was able to come and pick apples with Ellie and enjoy a beautiful day on the lake.

Nothing sweeter than a baby in a bonnet

I think this may possibly be the cutest video ever
(and I may be partial because they are my babies) of sisters! <3
Not sure if it will play but they start holding hands... sweetness

Caroline is getting so big these days and has really moving along with the crawling, pulling up and eating whatever Ellie is having.  I honestly do not remember Ellie getting into so much food at 10 months, but Caroline is loving some muffins, granola bars, puffs (of course) and bread.  Tried giving her cut up softend carrots not really a fan at the moments, still loving the baby puree of ANYTHING.  And I want to shake the mans hand who came up with the squeeze pouches with just about ANYTHING for your babies.  There are times I am almost certain Caroline (CeeCee or Sissysee as Ellie calls her) is eating better than us.  She is hands down the messiest eater ever! Ellie was pretty good about letting us feed her, but NOPE not Caroline she wants to do it and she will GRAB it and slap it all over her face... - picture next month ;)
Caroline was really excited about riding on the tractor out at the farm.

Silly girls playing at Amber's.  I love getting these text through out the day.
BIG DAY at the Cook House, David brought home a camper pretty much the next day after I told him I would go camping TWICE a year... Gave the man a bone and he ran with it. I do love the camper and we were able to go camping on James Island, just enought room for all 4 of us.

Caroline thinks Daddy is hysterical!

Ellie thinks the camper is amazing! She wants to play in it every day after work.
Our friends came to visit at the campground to roast hotdogs and play.

Caroline doesn't understand why she has a crib if she can have a big bed... haha
Our little kitch in the camper

The Zoo is always fun, but Sawyer Ann got to come and play too.
Ellie loves feeding the animals.
Lala and Sawyer Ann enjoying the fishes with me and the girls.
Best Friends!
We enjoy the zoo!

Happy happy baby!
I think I could watch this video thousand times a day!
Gigi came to visit.

I say it almost in every blog but the time seems to be flying by and before we know it Caroline will be one year old.  I cannot believe how fast the past months have flown by.  David actually had to correct me when we were out and someone asked how old my baby was, and I said 6 months... haha he just looked at me like I was crazy and corrected. :(
Still an amazing sleeper going down at 6:30 pm and waking up around 6:30-7 am for a bottle and then back in her crib for 30-45 minutes until we can get ready to head out.

9 Months old....Lovin life

The Summer has been fun!  We are sad for summer to go but ready for some cooler weather!
I think the girls were wishing for cooler weather when they insisted on wearing tutu's for the picture :)

Caroline has mastered sitting up all by herself and slowly crawling well sliding across the floor.
We had her 9 Month Check up and she was 68% Height and 75% Weight little over 20 lbs.
We did have a double ear infection this month, but once we got some antibiotics we were set.
Eating more baby food and less bottles. (Only 3 bottles Morning, lunch and Bedtime)
Great sleeper going down around 6:30pm and waking up around 6:30am to eat and plays in her crib while we get ready for work.

We have been busy for the month of August!
We had another chance to go down to the beach with the entire Cook family and soak up some more beach time... Ellie loves the beach and reminds us every day she wants to go to the beach and find sea "she"shells. (Which i am totally fine with)
Even Grandmother and Grandfather Cook came on the beach.
Lovin my beach girl!! - and applesauce ;)
So maybe Caroline was not lovin the beach after a while.
My attempt at a sisterly picture.  They are matching doesn't that count!
Ellie playing with her cousins at the beach.
Ellie admiring Hannah for sitting in the sand.
Caroline just hanging out under the tent with a lil breeze.

1st Bike ride with the girls... So much fun and they behaved on the way to the marina.

Hannah and Ellie being silly...
Blowing kisses bye bye to Charleston :(

We are also lucky enough to have Amber watching our girls and never fails I always get a picture or two during the work day to make it a little easier to leave them in the mornings... SO SWEET!!

Very fortunate to have two girls who love each other sooo much!

Next STOP Chimney Rock, Lake Lure to celebrates Dad (Pop's) Birthday. EVERYONE was able to make it to the celebration... Wish I could get everyone in one picture but that is pretty much impossible with 20 people and half of them being kids under 7.

Little kids inside playing whie we can keep an eye while cooking...
Dad's new playground was a huge hit... For little and big kids.

David still has it- to be honest I was a little nervous...

I mean seriously where did out little babies go?? Caroline and Wyatt look soo grown up :(
Round 3?? hahaha JK
Celebrating the little ones is so much fun!
Atlanta Zoo over Labor Day weekend and it was HOT! David even squeezed in some time for a Braves game with Jimmy.

As if I did not have enough pictures here are some more.
Ellie likes helping wash Caroline's back
Tanner Brown such a gentleman getting the door for Ellie in the bobcat.
Typical Saturday playing in the horse field

BIG DAY for the Cooks, we now have a new TRACTOR and HATS! I think the girls were more excited about the hats and the men about their new toy.

Now this just screams TROUBLE... Adeline and Ellie in Uncle Craig's jeep.
Yeah Ellie informed me she LOVES SNEEEKS, lil scared.

Turner Field!
