Let’s Go! 5 Months Strong...

5 Months!

Caroline is ready to go… Not exactly moving but she’s starting to push up during tummy time. Gearing up to Crawl? – Hope not yet (where did my baby go??)

Caroline can sit up for longer periods of time and assistance with the Boppy. She also is in the first steps of rolling back to side and tummy. Mornings are always entertaining where she will be in her crib and in what position. She is usually crooked in one corner with a huge grin on her face just kicking her feet! – Happiest baby in the morning.

Big step this month, too... Ellie got to go on a Disney Cruise while Caroline stayed in Columbia with the Cook's. She did great and I was afraid for a moment that Carolyn and Jim were not going to give me her back when we got home after almost a WEEK without her. ;)

We missed Caroline, but i believe she had a great time with her Grandparents and getting to see her cousins, Hannah and Nathan was an extra treat.

She’s AWAKE!

She’s AWAKE! (4 Months OLD)

Caroline is becoming more and more alert by the day. Giggling, laughing, smiles and coos are keeping the Cook household entertained!! We had our 4 Month checkup and Dr. Todd says all is good, very tall 90% and weight only 60% which baffles me because she’s a chucky monkey. She’s still eating every 3 hours until 7-7:30 pm she takes her last 6 oz. Bottle and goes down for bed until 6:30 am !! –she could probably sleep later, but getting ready in the morning and getting both girls to Amber’s our mornings start a little earlier. – No complaints she’s a happy happy baby and even on the weekend she may make it to 7-7:30 am.

We try and make it to the Zoo couple times a month. Not sure Caroline really cares but Ellie loves seeing the Monkeys and Gorilla.

Typical Weeknight before bed, both girls lounging around. -Sofia is more than likely on the TV

We do try and make it to the play ground after work for a little while to let Ellie and David to get out some extra energy

My lil Doodle-bug! (3 Months old)

3 Months and growing...

Is this not the sweetest face ever!

Love a baby right after a bath, and luckily Caroline loves baths. She just hangs out in the water smiling and cooing while she gets a good wash down.

Caroline is up to 6 oz per feeding and completly dropped the midnight AND 3-4 am feeding. I guess she eats well during the day still on a 3-4 hour schedule.

Such a peaceful sleeper... The only kicker is the PACI... Still too young to be able to grab the paci, if it falls out in the middle of the night (usually between 12-4 am) she needs someone to put it back in. Not complaining because she goes right back to sleep but several times a night still makes for long work days.

Retake... The 1st Picture is Ellie at 3 months and the 2nd Picture is Caroline at 3 months in the exact same place (the Palmetto has grown significantly in little less than 2 years!)

I say it over and over but the time is flying by and seems faster each time. :(

Ellie is still the sweetest big sister always trying to help and checking on baby sissy.

"Sissy Okay?" "Paci, sissy need paci, OKAY!"

Always fun to dress them the same too!! (Easier now when they do not get an option...)

We also celebrated Ellie's 2nd birthday!

The happiest lil girl ever in the morning... Cannot complain about the 5:45 -6 AM feeding with this adorable lil grin!! The chuckles just melt my heart!

The past three months have been great. She is doing well with Amber during the day while I am back at work, so on the weekend it's hard to let her go...
