I LOVE JULY!       (**Watch out picture overload!**)

So I am a little late in posting Miss Ellie’s 5 month blog, but we have been pretty busy.  This is definitely my favorite month of the year, maybe because it’s my birthday month and there is always time for the beach!!

The fourth of July was celebrated at Fripp Island with some of the family.  We had such a great time on the golf cart and hanging out on the beach. And finally after several outings to the beach Miss Ellie has come to love it (and I could not be happierJ).  She is either sleeping or eating on the beach.

When getting home from the beach the Brown’s came to visit with Tanner and we had a great time catching up by the pool!

Miss Ellie is also one lucky lady, at only 5 months old she got to stay at The Greenbrier for almost a week and was on her very best behavior.  Did not sleep to well in her pack and play, but loved the bucket in the stroller almost every night.  Ellie had a great time with a few of her cousins for the week.  She just loves watching older kids and cracks up around them.

Such a wonderful Dad!
Pool time, Daddy style.... Diaper
Some of the family at the Greenbrier enjoying some tea.
Daddy and Ellie having high tea...
Can never have to many family shots, right?!
Our sweet angel baby!!

Thanks to Mom and Dad we got a couple nights out!!
The girls plus David :)
Gracie, Adeline and Ellie

We also got to take the Cook's motorhome up to the Greenbrier with Hunter, Joy, Gracie, Adeline, Cam, Jimmy, James and Ellie which was allot of fun.  David was a trooper and drove up there and back with only a couple stops both ways.

My favorite picture... The entire family (minus Craig, Tricia, Hamilton and Zan) at the Greenbrier with the motorhome parked in the front... We know how to make an exit!

Sweetbaby James and Cambo sleeping

Joy and her girls watching Tangled

Our captain and co-captain... Hunter kept David entertained the entire time!!
Ellie buckled in and ready!

Ellie in the past month has become even more alert and loves to chime in on conversations or listen and watch whoever is talking very intently. (Teaching her early to make eye contact :))  And thanks to Aunt Cammie, Ellie now knows how to blow raspberries and soaks everything she wears. Another funny thing is, she puts her hands behind her back and sleeps WONDERFULLY, at least 10 hours a night with the occasional midnight wake if her schedule is a little off.
These are Ellie's magic PJ's (Carters Microfleece, thanks to Aunt Laura)
baby girl sleeps a GOOD 12 hours at LEAST!

Just incase you have not seen enough pictures of our sweet angel here are just a few more over the past month..... :)

FOUR MONTHS!

Already 4 months.... My sweet princess is growing (mostly in her cheeks and arms - haha jk) more and more everyday.  She watches us like an owl now, never taking her eyes off of us and recognizes our voices.  Melts my heart that she perks up when I come to get her at childcare and just starts smiling ear to ear.

Speaking of daycare, Miss Amber says she is doing so well and such a good baby (but would you expect anything less??? :)).  She loves being around other kids!!

In the past month we have had our Sunday family time with the Cook's and fried chicken :), compliments of Mama Cook and Bojangles or KFC :D. YUM!

James, Heather, Hannah, and Nathan come over as well and always make a special trip to see the horses.  Ellie even got to go up there and see the horses for the first time!

We also got to go to Charleston and celebrate Memorial Weekend with the Cook's at their beach house.  We had such a good time playing on the beach with Hannah and Ellie enjoyed her time with the grandparents and Aunt  Heather and Uncle James.  We also got to meet Laura's fiance! Shawn got to meet all of us and see Charleston...  Wedding is only 4 months away so they were also busy planning and visiting sites for the wedding.  Heather and I got a cake each asking us to be in the wedding and all babies. (I think Ellie is be the youngest flower girl ever)

It was also nice to stick around the house the following weekends and enjoy the pool with Ellie.  She is slowly warming up to the outside.  Stacey and Greg came to visit with their little man, Jamie.  Ellie and Jamie had a big time by the pool and slept great!  Having friends over has definately changed with the baby.  Bed time comes allot earlier, which is a very good thing... - with David being 31 ;)

And the last weekend David turned 31 and we got to celebrate our FIRST fathers day!!  We had friends and family over for a little grill out and party.  Baby girl is just a social butterfly!!

Loved James and Ellie's matching outfits....

My baby girl is 3 months old....  No longer a newborn

Miss Ellie is growing so fast and meeting new mile stones everyday.  Last week was her first week in childcare with Mrs. Amber Ridenhour and seems to be loving her time there, while we go to work... I am sure last week was harder on me than her, but she seems to love her new friends; Gabrella, Logan, and Bradley.  Ellie just grins from ear to ear when I drop her off, and she is always welcomed by the little boys in the morning.
Ellie just babbling about her day with Amber....

After a long day with Amber... She does not sleep much for Amber, but does really well at night!!

Fripp with Mom and Dad!

Beach Baby... Didn't last long, I am just glad I got a picture.

Maybe I am just a proud Mama, but I swear when she came home from childcare she was just a babbling on about how much fun she had and what all they did during the day.  Mrs. Amber says she is doing really well and has not been very fussy, just when she is a little gasy at time...
We have been pretty busy this month as well.  Trying to squeeze any last minute vacations in before my maternity leave came to an end.
Cam and I got to go down to Fripp for a couple of days with Mom and Dad.  Ellie dropped one of her feedings while at the beach (the 3-4 am feeding). Cam taught me to put Ellie down after her 6-8pm feeding and then the next sleep feed would last until the next morning! When it works it's AWESOME, but sometimes she still wants that additional feed. David and Jimmy had to work, so they did not join us until last Thursday evening and then Martha and Jason also came down on Friday for the weekend.  We had such a great time with everyone.  I just wished baby girl would have loved the beach, I guess it's still a little early.  And god bless David for being that Dad on the beach setting up the large tent with the baby tent inside and chairs only to find out Ellie was not going to have any of it.  I am sure onlookers were quiet amused.

 My little princess!
James playing sweet with Ellie... Took him a while to warm up to her :)

HILARIOUS! Ellie loves naps just like her Daddy...
I am just in love with sweet moments like this!!!

The past month Miss Ellie has just amazed us.  She now recognizes our voices and giggles, kackles, and babbles on and on.  I just never knew I could love something so much and I swear every day I love her more.  She is definatly a little blessing!
I also almost forgot we had a great time at the Crawfish Festival in Rosewood with Sally and John Robert.  Ellie was a trooper! It was a warm day, but that did not seem to bother Ellie.  I also was able to go out with some girls while the guys stayed home and watched after the babies. (and the babies survived :) In fact she slept through the entire night!!)
