EIGHT MONTHS!

8 Months?!?!?!

It's been another wonderful month with our little angel baby!! She sure is growning like a weed and has even begun saying dada!! Ellie just loves to sit on the couch playing with all of her toys and just babbles away with her adorable Hey dadada. Deffinently a Daddy's girl all the way.

Ellie truly enjoys two things...being outside and Grizzly. Put them together and what a happy little girl!

 

 Halloween is how far away!!! haha love this face.

Ellie and Fran had a little bit of a photo shot on the front yard while I was at the Clemson football game. Impressive thing is she took these while on a timer.

 

We also had a great weekend with all the Cook's at Fripp to just relax and enjoy the weather!! 

The next big event for the month is Aunt Laura's and Uncle Shawn's wedding! Before going down to Charleston to prepare for the festivities Laura and Shawn were able to spend some time at the house. We all had a big time with the grand parents, James, Heather and all the kids. The kids just love to walk up to the barn to see the horses

 

 What a happy family!! On the way back Hannah takes off running all the way back to the house with Nathan right on her heal. I still can't believe how big they are getting. Before we know it Ellie will be running right behind them.

 Grandmommy had the best time getting to play with Ellie and Hannah at Laura's wedding shower. Aunt Susan hosted a great wedding shower for Laura.

 Just looking at this picture I can hear Hannah's little "Ellliieeee!!!" While Ellie just cackles away. Such sweet cousins!











While posing Ellie pulled away from Hannah bumping her head on the dock. However, I hear she handled it great and hardley even cried. That's my tough little girl!

After the girls got done with the shower and the guys got back from golfing I cooked up a great lowcountry boil for everyone at the house. Think I caught everyone off gaurd by dumping the food on the counter and said dig in! Absolutely best way to feed a large group.

 The Links hagging out. Brett had a big role during the wedding of holding Ellie after I walked her down the aisle as a flower girl. Brett said Ellie just sat on his lap stairing at Laura and Shawn and never even made one peep! None of us could get over how good she was.

A special THANKS go out to Ashley, Sean, Brenn, and Kenzie for taking care of Ellie during the rehearsal so that we could have a little adult time and enjoy in the festivities!!

7 Months and growing StRoNg!!

7 Months!

My little helper even wants to help hold her own sign, or just put it in her mouth?! Miss Ellie has not had anything she does not like or want to waste.  She obviously is getting her four bottles at 6 ounces every day and two containers of food... (Mostly sweet potatoes, Carrots and Peas with oatmeal mixed in)

She is obviously the cutest little girl ever and sweetest!  Everyday is a new day and learning to enjoy tummy time and rolling front to back...

She is telling little lamb how much she loves him and how she looks forward to him singing her to sleep tonight, like every night since she was born :)

We now have become the Riverbank Zoo regulars :) Ellie loves the aquarium or just the fact there are tons of kids running around to entertain her... We joined couple weeks ago and already been several times.  Not sure who enjoys it more - Ellie or David.

Ashley and Sean came up to visit with their little girls and we all got to go to the zoo and enjoy the day... The weather was perfect for the zoo and then a little pool time!

6 MONTHS!!

Now comes the fun! J Miss Ellie has really WOWed us over the past month... She is just a social butterfly and loves everyone, she hasn’t met a stranger!

 

We had the chance to go to the Greenbrier as a family (unfortunately minus Craig, Tricia, Hamilton and Zan), but we made the most of our time!  David even drove the RV up to West Virginia to make the commute a little easier on the little ones.  Gracie, Adeline, James and Ellie enjoyed their time in the RV; well to be honest I think Hunter, Jimmy, Joy and Cam also had fun riding in the RV for the first time too… J

Ellie is always amazing us!  As if being a great traveler wasn’t enough, a wonderful hostess.  Having a few get togethers at our house she can SLEEP through anything!! Still wakes up early in the morning, no matter what time we go down J…

Our angel baby is even eating baby food this month.  I was a little scared to start the whole food process, because that would mean my baby was getting older, but no worries she caught on VERY fast.  We have not found a baby food she doesn’t like… So far peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes and her favorite squash!

Our 6 month check-up was successful.  Baby girl is 90% for weight and height (big girl!) and healthy.  In fact the doctor recommended me try and cut out one bottle feeding and so far so good…
